Police searching for wanted burglary suspect in Alabama

ALABAMA — Authorities in Jefferson County are searching for a man wanted on a felony burglary charge, according to Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.

Keon Scott, 27, is wanted on a felony warrant charging him with third-degree burglary. Officials say the warrant has been active since March 20, 2026.

Scott is described as a Black male, standing approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

According to Crime Stoppers, Scott’s last known address was in the 1000 block of Villa Rica Road in Center Point, Alabama. He is wanted by the Birmingham Court Division and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities have not released additional details about the alleged burglary. Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Scott. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama or local law enforcement.
