Police searching for person wanted for fentanyl distribution in Ohio

OHIO — This week’s featured fugitive on Cuyahoga’s Most Wanted is Lanell Atkins, a Cleveland man accused of possessing and trafficking a large quantity of illegal drugs.

According to Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County, investigators discovered 1,000 grams of fentanyl, 200 grams of crack cocaine, more than $5,000 in cash, digital scales, and blenders during a drug investigation and search warrant executed in March.

Atkins failed to appear in court, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. He is facing multiple charges, including:

  • Four counts of trafficking offenses (major drug offender)
  • Four counts of drug possession (major drug offender)
  • One count of possessing criminal tools

Atkins is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He was last known to be staying in the 1200 block of East 80th Street in Cleveland.
