Police searching for Ohio package theft suspect

CLEVELAND — Cleveland Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of stealing a package from a porch.

According to a Facebook post from the department, the theft occurred near West 44th Street and Denison Avenue.

The suspect was captured on video taking a package from a resident’s porch.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the man’s identity to contact Detective Murphy at 216-623-5217.

Police are reminding residents to report any suspicious activity and consider using security cameras to help deter package theft.
