NORTH CAROLINA — Police in Mooresville are asking for the public’s help in locating a 20-year-old woman who has been missing since the beginning of March.

According to the Mooresville Police Department, Semaya Frazier was last seen on March 1 after leaving her home to take out the trash. Authorities say she was seen running down the road from her home and getting into a waiting white vehicle.

Investigators believe Frazier may still be in the region and could be somewhere in Iredell or Rowan counties. Police also said she may have traveled to the Brooklyn area of New York.

Frazier is described as being 5 feet 1 inch tall with brown hair that falls slightly past her shoulders and brown eyes.

At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a black bonnet, a red hoodie and light gray pajama pants that may have triangle or ice cream cone designs on them. She was also wearing black and light blue Air Jordan shoes.

Anyone with information about Frazier’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Mooresville Police Department at 704-664-3311 or Detective Saladino at 704-658-9023.
