
NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help as the search continues for a woman who has been missing for nearly a year in Cleveland County.
According to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, Irene Webster Frye was reported missing on Feb. 15, 2025. Investigators said she was last seen near the area of Burke Road and College Avenue in the community of Boiling Springs.
The sheriff’s office said Frye has been diagnosed with multiple cognitive impairments, raising ongoing concerns for her safety.
Officials said multiple law enforcement and emergency agencies are scheduled to conduct another search of the area on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, as efforts to locate Frye continue.
