KENTUCKY — Authorities are searching for a missing woman last seen Wednesday evening in Alvaton.
Margaret Heard was spotted around 5 p.m. walking from a residence on Larmon Mill Road toward Dye Ford Road, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials believe Heard may be experiencing a mental health crisis and noted she does not have her phone.
Since shortly before midnight, the Alvaton Fire Department, along with Plano Fire and Emergency Management Agency, have been actively searching for Heard.
The search efforts include the use of UTVs, boats, drones, and search dogs and are expected to continue through Thursday.
Anyone with information on Heard’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at 270-842-1633.
