
KENTUCKY — Authorities have issued a Green Alert for a missing 70-year-old man in Burlington, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said William Singleton was last seen Monday at his home in Burlington.
Singleton is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds, with a bald head and a beard.
Investigators said he left his home without his phone while driving a 1989 Chevrolet RV-style vehicle with registration R3E479.
Authorities noted Singleton is a Vietnam War veteran and has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, Parkinson’s disease and dementia. Deputies also said he may be armed and is in possession of multiple firearms.
According to investigators, Singleton’s bank card was last used in the area of London on Wednesday.
Family members told authorities that Singleton has a history of alcohol abuse, his mental health has been deteriorating, and he may be suicidal.
Officials are urging anyone who locates Singleton not to approach him and instead call 911 immediately.
The investigation remains ongoing.
