PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania State Police in Lykens have issued a Missing Endangered Person Advisory for 15-year-old William Peters III, a teen with high-functioning autism.
Peters was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, in the 100 block of Myo Road in Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County. Authorities said Peters may be at special risk of harm or could be confused due to his disability.
He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 115 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Peters was last seen wearing a blue coat, gray pants, black shoes, and carrying a black backpack.
Search efforts are ongoing. The Millersburg Upper Paxton Emergency Management Agency said volunteers can join the search starting at 8 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the pavilion at MYO Park. Participants are advised to wear long pants and sturdy shoes and sign in at the pavilion.
Anyone who sees Peters or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately or contact PSP Lykens at 717-362-8700.
