VIRGINIA — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 85-year-old man who may be at risk.
The Virginia State Police issued a senior alert Sunday morning on behalf of the Fairfax County Police Department for Robert Williams Jr., who has been missing since Saturday evening.
According to authorities, Williams suffers from a cognitive impairment, and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
He was last seen around 6 p.m. Saturday in the 10300 block of Mockingbird Pond Court in Burke.
Williams is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and gray balding hair. He was last seen wearing a black U.S. Army hat.
Police say he may be driving a red 2011 Jeep Wrangler with Virginia handicap license plates 97588H.
