VIRGINIA — The Virginia State Police have issued a “Critically Missing Adult” alert at the request of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) for a 21-year-old woman last seen at Naval Station Norfolk.
Authorities are searching for Angelina Petra Resendiz, who is approximately 5 feet tall and weighs around 110 pounds.
She was last seen on May 29 at 10 a.m. in her barracks at Miller Hall on the naval base.
Officials did not release a description of her clothing, and she is not believed to have access to a vehicle.
Investigators say there is a credible threat to her health and safety, and her disappearance is being treated as a serious concern.
The NCIS is actively seeking any information that could assist in locating Resendiz. Anyone with information is urged to contact NCIS at 877-579-3648 or 757-513-1377.
