Police searching for missing person in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man from West Knox County.

Officials say 51-year-old Narendra Patel left his home on May 25 around 2:30 p.m.

His vehicle was later found by family members near a bridge on Northshore Drive, just west of the Concord Road roundabout.

Patel was last seen wearing an orange polo shirt and khaki shorts. He is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 220 pounds.

KCSO reported that patrol units, aviation, and drone teams searched for Patel late into Sunday night, and search efforts remain ongoing.

Anyone who may have seen Patel or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact KCSO Major Crimes Detective McCord through the Teleserve unit at 865-215-2243.
