
SOUTH CAROLINA — Police in Spartanburg are searching for a 41-year-old man who was reported missing Friday night and is believed to be without his medication.
According to the Spartanburg Police Department, Raheim Thornton left his apartment on Wofford Street around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Officers say Thornton has schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and seizures. He reportedly left without his medication, raising concerns for his well-being.
Thornton is described as a Black man who is about 6 feet 4 inches tall with a slender build and buzzed black hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt under a black hoodie and gray sports shorts.
Family members told police that Thornton does not have a phone or a car, and authorities have no way to contact him.
