Police searching for missing person in Ohio

OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man last seen earlier this month.

Matthew George, 65, was reported missing from the 4900 block of Lewis Avenue. He was last seen on April 4, 2025, according to Toledo Police.

George is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds.

He has brown hair and brown eyes and is known to walk with a cane.

At this time, authorities do not have a description of the clothing he was wearing when he disappeared.

Anyone with information about George’s whereabouts is urged to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. Callers may remain anonymous.
