NORTH CAROLINA — Police in Statesville are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has been missing for about a week.
According to the Statesville Police Department, 45-year-old David Dewayne Simpson was last seen on March 3 on Davie Avenue near Simonton Road and International Drive.
Simpson is described as a Black male standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Police said he has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket, blue jeans, a black beanie and red and white Jordan tennis shoes.
Anyone with information about Simpson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Statesville Police Department at 704-878-3406. Authorities have not released additional details as the search continues.
