Police searching for missing person in Missouri

MISSOURI — Police in Liberty have issued a missing endangered person alert for a 16-year-old boy who has not been seen recently.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the teen, identified only as John.

John was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black sweatpants, and white Nike shoes. He is believed to be driving a red 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck with Missouri license plate 0PGW73.

The vehicle has a distinctive Mizzou Tigers decal on the bottom right side of the tailgate.

Police have not released details on why the teen is considered endangered but urge anyone who sees John or the vehicle to contact authorities immediately.

The investigation remains ongoing.
