KENTUCKY — Covington police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 22-year-old man who was last seen Friday evening.
According to the Covington Police Department, Joshua McDowell, 22, was last seen around 5:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Monte Lane.
Police officers and detectives are actively searching the Monte Casino neighborhood for McDowell. Authorities said he struggles with mental illness and is believed to be a danger to himself.
Police said McDowell does not have access to a vehicle, and his cellphone is still pinging somewhere within the neighborhood. He was last seen wearing a light-colored jacket and blue jeans.
