Police searching for missing person in Indiana

INDIANA — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Indianapolis teenager who authorities believe may be in immediate danger.

Destanee Williams, 17, was last seen around 3:30 a.m. Friday morning in the 7800 block of Penobscot Drive.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), she was reportedly taken from her home by her ex-boyfriend, 28-year-old Cieyon Wheeler, who was armed with a firearm.

It is unclear whether the two left the area on foot or in a vehicle.

Williams is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds. She has shoulder-length dreadlocks colored brown, black, blonde, and blue.

She also has brown eyes, a lower lip piercing, and a tattoo on her neck. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black hoodie and gray pants with black lettering or graphics.

Authorities are urging the public to be on the lookout and report any information that could help locate Williams or Wheeler.
