Police searching for missing person in Indiana

INDIANA — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 10-year-old boy last seen on the city’s southeast side.

Donnie Dearinger was last seen Wednesday in the 1700 block of Fletcher Avenue, near Southeastern Avenue and east of Shelby Street.

Police describe Donnie as a white male, 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.

He has brown hair and brown eyes.

IMPD did not release information about what he was wearing at the time he went missing.

Officers do not believe Donnie is in danger or in need of medical attention, but they noted he was alone when last seen.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911.
