INDIANA — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 19-year-old man from Perry County who authorities say may be in extreme danger and in need of medical assistance.
Nikhil Sood was last seen around 5 p.m. Monday in Bristow, Indiana, approximately 130 miles southwest of Indianapolis. The alert was issued early Tuesday morning.
Sood is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black swimming trunks, and white shoes or sandals.
According to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were actively searching the area near Anderson Woods Summer Camp as of 9 p.m. Monday. The camp hosts programs for individuals with special needs.
Anyone with information on Sood’s whereabouts is urged to contact local authorities immediately.
