Police searching for missing person in Georgia

GEORGIA — The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 65-year-old woman from Americus.

Officials said Caroline Durrance was last seen at her home in the 100 block of Cartwright Road around 6 a.m. on Sunday, August 24.

Durrance is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde/grey hair. Authorities believe she may be traveling in a 1998 black Honda CRV with Georgia tag number YPY406.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office at 229-924-4094.
