GEORGIA — The Chatham County Police Department is actively searching for a 16-year-old girl who has been reported as a runaway and may be in danger due to a serious medical condition.
Haylee Kleinschmidt was last seen by her family on Wednesday night.
While authorities believe she left on her own, police say the situation is urgent because Haylee requires medication and could face life-threatening complications without it.
Haylee is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds.
She was last seen in the 400 block of Johnny Mercer wearing a black spaghetti-strap top and black pants with light embroidery.
Her hair, once blonde, is now dyed brunette, and she no longer wears braces.
Anyone who has seen Haylee or has information about her whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
