Police searching for missing person in Alabama

ALABAMA — The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in locating 83-year-old Robert Eugene Williams, who is currently missing and considered endangered.

Deputies say Williams may have a condition that impairs his judgment. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 178 pounds, with brown eyes and partially gray hair.

Williams was last seen on Thursday, July 29, around 10:30 a.m. in the Town Creek area. At the time, he was wearing khaki shorts.

Authorities believe Williams may be traveling in a white GMC Sierra with Alabama license plate 42C044W.

Anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
