
VIRGINIA — Police are searching for a missing and endangered woman in Lynchburg, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.
Authorities said officers received a report around 6:10 p.m. Wednesday regarding a missing and endangered person.
Investigators identified the woman as Sarah Darby, 35, who was last seen earlier that day around 3 p.m. leaving the 2600 block of Memorial Avenue.
Police described Darby as approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. Officials said she is considered endangered due to a medical condition.
Officers are actively searching for Darby and are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Lynchburg Police Department’s non-emergency number at 434-847-1602.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional updates are expected to be released.
