SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered teenager and her infant daughter, according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

Jazmynn Rosa Morales Sakkinen, 15, and her 4-month-old daughter, Elina Elizabeth Morales Sakkinen, were reported missing by a family member Saturday.

Authorities said both were last seen around 11 p.m. Friday at their home on Yellow Bell Drive near Walhalla.

Deputies describe Jazmynn as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 164 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She may be wearing a beige shirt with flowers, black ripped jeans, purple Nike shoes and a heart necklace. Investigators said she may also be carrying her child’s diaper bag.

Elina is described as approximately 1 foot tall and weighing about 20 pounds.

The sheriff’s office said both are considered endangered due to their ages.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately. The case remains under investigation.
