LOUISIANA — Authorities are searching for a 17-year-old girl who ran away from her home in Ponchatoula, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Alyssa Matecun was last seen Sunday on Beauregard Street.
Investigators believe she may be in the Sulphur area with family members who may not be aware that she has been reported missing.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-902-2031.
The search remains ongoing.
