OHIO — Police in Akron are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager who was last seen earlier this month.
According to the Akron Police Department, 16-year-old Drew Lamont Scruggs Jr. was reported missing after he was last seen in Akron on Jan. 8, 2026. Authorities said there is currently no additional information available about the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
Drew is described as a Black male, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 80 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. At the time he was reported missing, Drew was 16 years old, and he remains that age.
Police have not released details about what Drew was wearing when he was last seen or where he may have been headed. Investigators said the case remains active and they are continuing efforts to locate him.
