GEORGIA — Officials are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen on Saturday morning.
Ja’khia Benjamin was last seen around 6 a.m. on July 13 near the 200 block of McCartha Drive.
She is described as being 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 134 pounds.
Her clothing description at the time she went missing is unknown.
Anyone with information about Ja’khia’s whereabouts is urged to call 911, the Columbus Police Department’s Special Victims Unit at 706-225-3449, or contact the lead investigator, Corporal Haley Starr, at 706-225-4373.
