NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities are searching for a 15-year-old boy who went missing Thursday morning in the Balsam Grove area.
Michael Jethro Scott left his home shortly after 8 a.m., according to the Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
He was riding a black Honda 125cc dirt bike and was last seen wearing a Rosman High School sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black helmet. He also had a dark-colored backpack.
Anyone with information about Scott’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 884-3168.
