FLORIDA — A 15-year-old girl who had been reported missing in Homestead has been found safe, according to police.
Authorities said the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Florida Missing Child Alert Friday morning for Angeles Vazquez.
Investigators said Vazquez had last been seen in the area of the 3100 block of Northeast Fourth Street.
Police described the teen as 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 86 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and may have been carrying a pink blanket.
Officials said that shortly after 11 a.m., Vazquez was located and is safe.
No additional details were immediately released.
