VIRGINIA — Authorities are searching for a missing 14-year-old boy who was last seen leaving a Henrico County high school and may be in danger, according to police.
The Henrico County Police Division issued a missing juvenile alert Thursday for Gerard Dakouo, who was last seen around 1:55 p.m. Wednesday leaving Highland Springs High School.
Police said Dakouo was on foot and headed in an unknown direction when he was last seen. Officials have expressed concern for his well-being.
Dakouo is described as a Black male with black hair, standing about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants, and carrying a gray Adidas backpack.
Anyone with information about Dakouo’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Henrico County Police Division at 804-501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000. Tips can also be submitted through the P3Tips app.
The case remains under investigation, and officials say updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
