
SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities in Marion County are searching for an endangered missing teenager who left his home Sunday afternoon after threatening self-harm.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said 13-year-old Jamar Reaves, of Mullins, left his home on foot around 1:35 p.m.
Deputies have been conducting an extensive search in the area for several hours. Reaves was last seen wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, a gray shirt and blue sweatpants. Officials said he may be barefoot or wearing flip-flops.
Anyone who encounters Reaves is asked to call 911 immediately.
Deputies are also asking residents in the Todd School area to check their security cameras for any possible sightings.
Authorities said the search remains ongoing.
