Police in Knoxville are searching for a missing 11-year-old child with special needs who was last seen near downtown, according to authorities.
The Knoxville Police Department said Randy Ashdord was last seen in the area of Clinch Avenue and Henley Street. Officials said he was walking toward the downtown area at the time.
Police said the child is autistic and was wearing an autism awareness T-shirt when he was last seen.
Authorities are actively searching for Ashdord and are asking for the public’s help in locating him. Anyone who sees the child or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
No additional details were immediately released as the search remains ongoing.
