GEORGIA — Police in Atlanta are searching for an 11-year-old boy who has been reported as a critical missing person.
According to authorities, Angel Harbin was last seen Saturday night near the 2500 block of Center Street in northwest Atlanta. His mother told police that Angel had been in trouble after nearly starting a fire inside his bedroom.
When she went to check on him around 10:30 p.m., she discovered that Angel and his brother were no longer inside the home. Investigators believe the two may have left through a bedroom window.
Angel’s mother later reported seeing him on Center Street, but said he ran off with his brother. Police have not released additional information about the brother.
Angel is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 80 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue shorts.
Anyone with information on Angel’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact Detective Brian Webber at 404-597-0691 or by email at bjwebber@atlantaga.gov.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
