SOUTH CAROLINA — The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of attacking several people with a machete Sunday evening.
Deputies responded around 5:30 p.m. to Dillon Drive after a 911 caller reported a disturbance involving four individuals that escalated into an assault.
When deputies arrived, they found three victims. Two of them were taken to the hospital for injuries caused by a machete, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities said the suspect, an adult male, has been identified, and deputies are actively searching the area for him. Investigators believe the incident was isolated and said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
