TENNESSEE — Authorities are searching for four masked suspects involved in an armed robbery early Tuesday morning at the Sunshine Market on Rivergate Parkway.
According to the Goodlettsville Police Department, the robbery occurred around 5:12 a.m. when four armed suspects entered the market, robbing both the store clerk and a customer.
Police said the suspects forced the victims to lie on the floor, tore the store’s alarm system from the wall, and shut off the building’s exterior lights before fleeing the scene.
While it is unclear how much money was taken, investigators said the suspects also stole a large amount of lottery tickets.
The suspects reportedly arrived in a stolen white 2019 Hyundai Sonata, which had been taken from the Retreat Apartments in Goodlettsville on October 10. The vehicle was later found burned on Hollywood Street, officials said.
