
KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an inmate who escaped from a facility in Owensboro on Friday.
Authorities say 45-year-old Angela S. Long escaped from Dismas Charities in Owensboro on April 10 at approximately 5:30 p.m. EST. Long is described as a white female standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. She has long straight brown hair and blue eyes.
According to investigators, Long was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light blue T-shirt, and gray sneakers. Witnesses reported that she left the facility and got into a black vehicle.
Officials said Long was serving a sentence on various theft and substance abuse-related charges at the time of her escape.
Kentucky State Police are urging anyone with information regarding Long’s whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement agency or Kentucky State Police Post 16 at 270-826-3312.
The investigation remains ongoing.
