GEORGIA — The Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an inmate worker who walked away from a work detail at the Tattnall County Jail.
According to deputies, 53-year-old Andy Lee Tootle left his assigned car wash duty without authorization. Tootle was last seen wearing an orange inmate worker t-shirt and blue pants.
His last known address is on Holiday Lake Road in Reidsville.
Tootle was being held at the jail for a misdemeanor probation violation after failing to appear for a status hearing. His original offense was possession of a drug-related object.
The sheriff’s office stated that Tootle is not considered armed or dangerous.
