
KENTUCKY — Authorities in Mercer County are searching for a man who escaped from police custody Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Harrodsburg Police Department, the escape happened around 4 p.m. at the Mercer County Judicial Center. Officials identified the man as Josh Collins.
Police said Collins was last seen on Greenville Street wearing blue jeans and a gray shirt. He was reportedly still in handcuffs at the time of his escape.
Authorities have not released a photo or detailed physical description of Collins.
Officials are urging the public not to approach him. Anyone who sees Collins or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
The search remains ongoing.
