KENTUCKY — Police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery in the Highlands on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers responded shortly before 2 p.m. to a reported holdup at the Chase Bank located in the 1700 block of Bardstown Road.
Investigators said a white man entered the bank and demanded cash. He then fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of money.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
LMPD’s Robbery Unit is leading the investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the department’s anonymous tip line at (502) 574-5673 or submit tips through the department’s online Crime Tip Portal.
Police also urge anyone who was in the area at the time and may have cellphone video or surveillance footage to share that information with investigators.
