Police searching for armed robbery suspect in Ohio

OHIO — The Cleveland Police First District is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a recent armed robbery.

According to police, a man robbed a store at 12945 Lorain Avenue at gunpoint around 9:50 a.m. on Sunday before fleeing on foot.

Authorities believe the suspect is about 20 years old.

To aid in the search, the First District Detective Unit shared a clear image of the suspect on its Facebook page, noting that he was last seen in the area of W. 119th Street and Linnet Avenue.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the First District Detective Unit at (216) 623-5118 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at (216) 252-7463.
