SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities in the Pee Dee region are asking the public for help locating an armed and dangerous man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Florence.
According to the Florence Police Department, Sincere Hickman is wanted for his alleged involvement in a shooting that occurred earlier this month in the 600 block of Roberts Street. The incident resulted in the death of 19-year-old Zy’naija Thomas, who police said was pregnant at the time.
Hickman faces multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy.
Police warned that Hickman should be considered armed and dangerous and advised the public not to attempt to approach him if he is seen. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement immediately.
The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
