OHIO — An all-clear was given Tuesday morning after police investigated a reported threat at an elementary school in Deer Park.

Police were called around 9 a.m. to Amity Elementary School along East Galbraith Road after the district received a third-party call reporting that someone had entered one of the school’s buildings.

Deer Park City Schools said the district’s school security officer responded to the report and contacted 911.

Officers arrived at the school and conducted a search of the building. Police later confirmed there was no immediate threat to students or staff.

School officials said the situation was resolved quickly and that the school day would continue as normal. No injuries were reported, and no arrests were announced.
