OHIO — A police chase that began in Bowling Green ended with a crash in Uptown Maumee on Wednesday morning, according to city officials.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the city said the vehicle being pursued crashed into another car at the intersection of Dudley and Conant streets. It is not yet known if anyone was injured or what led to the pursuit.
Conant Street was shut down between Wayne and John streets following the crash as rescue crews responded.
Photographs shared by the city showed multiple agencies on the scene, including Perrysburg Police, Bowling Green Police, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The incident remains under investigation.
