GEORGIA — The Gwinnett County Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating an incident in Stone Mountain.
Police activity was reported Sunday at the Holiday Inn Express located along Parke Plaza Circle and East Park Place. Crime scene tape was seen blocking off the intersection near the hotel as officers worked the scene.
Authorities have not released details about what led to the investigation or whether anyone was injured. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed it is assisting local police.
Officials said additional information is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
