Police K-9 finds large quantity of drugs during traffic stop in Ohio

OHIO — A routine traffic stop in Greene County led to a major drug discovery thanks to a police K-9.

According to the Xenia Police Department, K-9 Koda assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol during a traffic stop when the drugs were located.

Koda detected the presence of narcotics and found them hidden under the hood of the vehicle.

In total, officers recovered nearly 413 grams of drugs, including 13.7 ounces of methamphetamine, 8 grams of fentanyl, and 17 grams of crack cocaine.

The Xenia Police Department praised Koda’s efforts in a social media post, writing, “Way to go, Koda!”
