OHIO — Colerain Township Police are investigating two deaths they believe are connected after a man and a woman were found dead Wednesday evening.
The first call came around 6:04 p.m. when officers responded to the 2400 block of Owlcrest Drive for a possible suicide attempt. At the scene, officers discovered 56-year-old George Coach dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Less than an hour later, police were called to the Inn Towne Suites on Colerain Avenue, where 46-year-old Anthonya Blevins was found dead. Investigators are treating Blevins’ death as a homicide.
Detectives from the Colerain Township Police Criminal Investigative Unit responded to both scenes. Police said preliminary findings indicate the two were known to each other and that the incidents are believed to be connected. Authorities do not believe any other individuals were involved.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Mike Stockmeier at 513-321-COPS.
