INDIANA — Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday night in northeast Fort Wayne.
Police were called around 8:30 p.m. to the 7500 block of Tanbark Lane, near the intersection of Maplecrest and Rothman roads, following reports of gunfire in the area. Fort Wayne Dispatch confirmed that a shooting had taken place.
As of Saturday evening, it was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured. Authorities have not released additional details about what led up to the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
