Police investigating robbery of convenience store in Alabama

ALABAMA — Mobile police are investigating a robbery at a local business Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the CEFCO Convenience Store at 2704 Springhill Avenue, where a man reportedly took items without paying.

According to the Mobile Police Department, the cashier attempted to chase the suspect but was threatened with a firearm.

The suspect fled the area on foot. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Mobile police.
