NORTH CAROLINA — State investigators are looking into a reported murder that occurred early Tuesday morning in Madison County, according to officials.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation confirmed it is investigating the case, which authorities said happened around 3 a.m. on March 31.
Officials have not released additional details about the victim, possible suspects or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
