OHIO — The Portage County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of scamming an elderly individual out of more than $19,000.
According to detectives, the suspect was seen driving a white 2013 to 2016 Chevrolet Cruze with black rims.
Investigators say he defrauded the victim out of the large sum and is now being sought for questioning.
The man is believed to be of Middle Eastern descent, between 20 and 30 years old, standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall.
He has dark hair, dark eyes, and facial hair. In surveillance images, he was seen wearing a plaid button-down shirt, blue jeans, and a black ball cap.
